The Darling Buds of Spring celebrates indicators, such as the blossoming of plants, the activities of animals, and the special smells that flourish, alerting us to the changing of the seasons. It is also a reminder that as we continue through the Anthropocene epoch, we are at the tipping point of a potential new world, and a disrupted equilibrium.

These dolls have been created as a way for their custodians to connect and imbue meaning and a sense of wonder within a world that sometimes forgets that we were all children once.

Each piece is a one-of-a-kind with variations in pattern and colour, reflective of the handmade process. This is a zero waste product, all the materials have been up-cycled and hand dyed using natural dyes. The stuffing is 100% recycled PET plastic bottle polyfill.
